Welcome to the WJSD 2025/26 season!

We’re Ellen Humphreys & Monica Faucette, your parent swim reps, here to answer questions and keep you updated throughout the season. Most information is also available on the Swimtopia team site.

Volunteering

To make this season a success, everyone's help is needed. Apart from Coach Jamie Grimes, the team is entirely volunteer-run. Each family is asked to volunteer for 2 meet jobs and 2 social event jobs throughout the season. You can see all the meets & events and sign-up for jobs on the Signup Calendar. Meet jobs are things like timing, officiating, dive judging & social event jobs are helping with weekly breakfast, pasta dinner, sub-lunch, etc.. Reach out with any questions.

If you’re interested in taking on a larger role with the team, we have some key positions to fill. Some roles simply need additional support, while others would benefit from someone who can shadow this year and step into the position next season. If any of these areas appeal to you, please reach out!

• Dive Rep - shadow to lead effort next year
• Treasurer
• Breakfasts - shadow to manage/oversee for next year
• Automation

The first meet is 11/29, at Germantown Indoor Swim Center. Team photos will take place before the meet. Swimmers should be there by 8:30am. Please be sure your swimmer/diver is signed-up and check-out the jobs that need to be filled.
